Do you respond to a discussion even if the best response is already selected?

Yes, like you, if I can still contribute something or have questions to ask to the discussion starter, I will definitely post my comment. I just read the responses posted first to make sure that there will be no unnecessary duplication.

Yes. I do. If I come across a discussion that interests me, I don't look at the responses already there before adding mine. Once I submit my response, I go through other responses & most often find the BR already selected.

Even if I see the BR mark awarded already, I still write my comment, if I like the topic. It is always the topic that interests me. Further, if I am knowledgeable of the topic, the more reason it gives me to stop and comment. I comment because I want to share and not necessarily to vie for the best response credit.

If the discussion is already selected,i wont give up i just share my opinion to others,shaing our thought is important then picking as best.

Sure i do, i would like to hear other members opinions and i would also like them to hear my opinion. It actually does not matter whether the best response for a certain discussion was already chosen.

BR is awarded means the discussion is 'resolved'.. But many people use it unwisely. Also, some like to have still more inputs. So, I don't care if the BR is already awarded in that particular discussion. I just take notice.
