1. charblaize (465) | 3 months ago | I have also done the same (forgetting) hahaha I live in an area where we haven't changed it for over 30 years, then they decided to do it...was such a mess. Then we go 20 miles to the nearest town and they stayed the same!!! It gets so confusing especially when you have appointments in different areas. I am still alittle disgusted with this situation. I always feel the government has other more "important" issues to deal with that this shouldn't even been a concern. I better go set mine back now before I forget:))

2. gossipzz (365) | 3 months ago | Yeah its really great when the time changing happens on a sunday. However some people still use this as an excuse to be late on monday at work. The time is going backwards I think. How can you be late you should be early. For those who work on sunday just think of getting one hour sleep more. Happy lotting.

4. book1962 (14873) | 3 months ago | hi here in Germany we had it one week ago and like you I also turned back the clocks before going to bed so I would not have to fret about it and forget on Sunday morning.

thea09 (5093) | 3 months ago | Of course, I forgot you have a long commute. I'm just glad it is light in the mornings now especially as this foul weather means I'm driving to school every morning as its impossible for my son to walk through the mud lake outside. The rabbit and I were just debating below you, wonder if you know which American president it was?

5. thea09 (5093) | 3 months ago | Hi bluespacker, I thought I'd already responded here, my mistake. As I thought I'd said the clocks here changed a week ago as indeed yours used to do until one of your presidents changed it so that America and the rest of the world were not on parr with clock times. What do you feel about your president doing that and do you think he just did it hoping the rest of the world would follow suit?

jb78000 (1928) | 3 months ago | hijack...probably. or perhaps he just wanted the us to be special and different...
| |

thea09 (5093) | 3 months ago | It is indeed jb, or he could possibly have been attempting to put the rest of the world on American time and that was just the first step. Probably have all us Europeans going off to work in the middle of the night. And it would be so much more convenient not having to get Gordon out of bed to answer the telephone.
| |
jb78000 (1928) | 3 months ago | plausible. problem is both of those scenarios require planning ahead slightly. i'm guessing it is far more likely that he had an early appointment that week and just wanted some extra snooze time.
| |
thea09 (5093) | 3 months ago | Could be. I actually can't remember which president it was who made the change, and I'd need an American opinion here on how it went down at the time. Suddenly to have the last Saturday in October to be uprooted from its position of an extra hour on the weekends, can't surely have gone down really quietly.

jb78000 (1928) | 3 months ago | seems a very pointless thing to do really
| |
thea09 (5093) | 3 months ago | But apparently they didn't do it everywhere. Very strange behaviour but Zeph blames it on the Bush.
| |
jb78000 (1928) | 3 months ago | sounds very possible that the shrubbery was responsible
