What do you think about hair sprays and hair gels?

They can dry the hair out. But as long as you don't let them build up and make sure to condition the hair it should be fine. Some hair gels can even condition your hair while they are in there. Make sure to read the ingredients and stay away from styling products that have drying ingredients in them. Sometimes hair needs those products to keep from being frizzy and out of control.

I hate hairspray or gel in my hair..The only product I put in my hair is smoothing serum to control the frizz.. But as a hairstylist for 16 years I do find the need for sprays and gels to make people look there best.. As for it damaging the hair these products do contain alchol in them and can dry the hair out...
