Do you think it's easy to choose what to give to other people?

I guess that It would depend upon what you are giving, and to whom. Sometimes it isn't easy procuring that gift in order to give it, of course, but the thought is what matters, right?

It is not easy to choose gift or present to others. Not easy because you are not buying for yourself, you don't exactly know what the person likes... especially if you hardly knew his preferences... Not easy too even if you know the person inside out because you are trying your best to give him something new, unique and something wonderful... The stress factor is present... You wanted to impressed him somehow...

Not really. If i'm not very close with another person I probably wouldn't care much about what I'm going to give as long as I'm giving something. But to be on the safe side I will most likely give a box of candies or cookies or a basket of fruits. Now if I'm very close with the person like my own husband it's also not very easy. Of course I already knew what he likes but the thing is I can not give him the same gift every time, every year. My husband has everything he wants in life already. I guess this christmas I'll just give him aspirin. lol

For me I find it hard, no matter who it is. I'm really fickle when it comes to getting gifts for people, and I sometimes feel paranoid, like what if they don't like it? Or what if they won't find any use for it? Sometimes, I get so caught up, I end up getting sidetracked and I buy something for myself instead (because it's sooo much easier hahahah) I guess I just need to remember that as you said, it's the thought that counts. Also, my friends are people who are happy with whatever I give them, so I just need to remember that when I am having a bout of indecision with gifts.
