Do you use a radiation screen over your computer? How do you protect your eyes?

I stay in front of the computer several hours a day and sometimes my eyes get strained and teary. I plan to buy a screen to protect my eyes from further damage. What about you? Are you using some sort of protection on your computer screen? What methods do you employ to avoid eye strain? How do you protect your eyes?

I don't use any form of protection screen over my monitor. You say your eyes become strained and teary? I sit at my computer for hours on end sometimes and I don't suffer with eye strain. Can I ask you, do you use a CRT monitor or an LCD monitor? It all depends on the kind of resolution you are using for your display settings. With an LCD screen it's likely that you can set the setting quite high and it will be comfortable for your eyes. There's also something called the refresh rate. Anyway, you can only adjust your settings according to what kind of monitor you have. Good luck. Andrew

most of us who use crt display have the eye straining problem . i too sit on pc for like the whole day and when i get up my eys are heavy and sometimes waters. in such a case screen glass is a must. yupp i agree that lcd helps it out .well lcd has lot more advantages over crt.

sitting infront of your pc for long hours can result in many disorders including headache, and pain in the back.
one should take visual breaks while sitting in front of computers.
if you cant take visual breaks then make it a point to stretch your arms and legs.
if you have eye problem it is best advisable to go for a anti radiation screen to protect your eyes

We have a radiation screen. I always make sure I don't go beyond 3 hours using the computer. It hurts my eyes really. I also have headaches.

presently i am not using any kind of protection. i have glasses and my no. is increasing the more i sit in fron of the pc or tv. i planned to buy me a new screen guard but my laziness always came in the way. but i have decided that whatever happens i would definitely buy one very soon .do u know any good brands of these screen guards??
