Have you ever tried one of those ab stimulating/shocking excersise belts?  | |  I have used one once as I borrowed it from a friend so havent stuck with it long enough to know if it actually does any good. The product I tried was called Contour Abs. It had 4 sticky pads on it that you stuck to the belt and your stomach then turned it on. It had different programs that you could adjust the intensity of. It would alternate from solid bursts of "stimulus" and off and pulses of "stimulus." By stimulus, I mean very low level shocking. It is not like static shock that is painful but more like a tingly, numbing shock like a 9 volt battery on the tongue, though not painful. Just the "buzz" feeling.
I am not worried about it hurting me at all, just if it is worth my time and money. Anyone else used it for an extended period, had a friend who has/does, or know of a good blog or information source (other than the manufacturer's website)?

AlkaiserMO (96) | 1 month ago |  I studied nutrition in my early years in college, and we often talked about the billion dollar health nut industry, so obviously these contraptions came up. For the most part, you can easily find that most of these machines do not work. They simply won't produce the results promised. Most people have realized you can't gain 30 lbs of muscle in 2 weeks, but when people get desperate, it sounds so appealing! I have bought them myself to be honest. Though I'm sure you've heard it again and again, a good diet and exercise is the only alternative to liposuction or simply accepting being fat and happy:)

| | 2.  weasel81 (1148) | 4 weeks ago |  not tried anything like that, but our foot mesager, has the pads and you can use them in the same way. i only have it on a very low setting, cause it hurts to much on a higher setting.
but my partner has got the vitality 600 vibrator. it seems to be working well and slowly.
