Aren't you jaded yet?!  | |  There are a lot of things in life that makes no sense anymore. Like working hard in your job, yet daily you are under the constant threat of a possible layoff. Or doing everything for your family, yet you don't get the respect that you think you deserve. Or always trying to be good in society, yet you keep being a victim of random crimes. Or to make a relevant example, working hard on a ptc, yet it turns out to be a scam.
Sometimes I just feel like I am just so jaded in life. Aren't you jaded yet? Do you have situations in life where you feel you just don't care anymore?

I really just want to find a good way to lose. I've heard all these stories with happy endings. "Oh I was to my ears in debt, bla bla bla, and then I met the man, or found "X" opportunity, and now I'm living in a mansion with a lot of cars..."
You know the story. But not every story has a stereotypical happy ending. But i've decided on a happy ending that is not conventional. I will pursue my dream, and I will pursue it until my whole life runs out. I may spend the rest of my life in poverty (no choice, can't find work, so might as well,) I will most likely lose, but I will give it everything. Hey, I'd rather die of starvation or whatever at age 26-30 than live on to be an old bitter grouch.
You'll see me on the streets with a smile on my face.
(I'm not making much sense I know, writers block I guess)

But, I do think we all need to hear those things from time to time. Life can seem awfully dull and full of responsibility at times--and we do get down now and then. We forget that we have many blessings and should count them too.
Yes, I've had some hard knocks, but so have a lot of other people, some much worse than me. My life will never be the same, but in many ways--it's better! And I'm still here to talk about it...:-)
