what's the definition of "friends" for you.

the definition of friends may be different to different people. friends is a person, with this person i feel comfort, reliable, dependable, trustworthy. and who never think to fall me in trouble. never wish cheat with me. friend always keeping special feelings and missing me from heart. they like make fun, laugh and smile but serious,sincere and caring to me.
in our life, we call so many people as a friend, but i thought all are they not friends. we just call them but not treat them as true friend in heart. wise people said that a true friend much valuable then gold.

friend is a person who is kind with you, someone to talk with about everyting, love, problems, ideas and other things, it's someone you can count on every time you need, and you've to give to him the same things that you recive. There are only a few true friends, and sometimes only one true friend that become your best friend, someone with your same ideas and interests.

hi nicholaYa friends to me mean the people that I can trust, who can trust me, who would do anything for me, and I would do anything for them, who are there when you are down, and donot run away from you when you have troubles. the same whom I would help in a flash anytime day or night.Only a few fit this category for me, the ones who have always been there for me, and for them I will always be there too.

A "friend" is someone that I can completely and utterly give my trust to. Since trust isn't exactly the easiest thing to come by, I have only acquaintances. They may not know that either;] How old are you? Because for me, I am still young yet(18), so I'm sure all of the people I am associated with now will not be there for the future.

A friend is a person who helps you. Is a person that stay with you and that you get a good time with it.

Hi nichola ya: thanks for open this discussion because, you know, it6's always good to feel that there's someone who understand you, want to be with you and you can share with him or her your dreams, you trust on him/ her and you know he/she'll be always with you. Despite this, and as you mention there's no exact definition for friends, at least we can mention some of the characters that make you think this person is your friend:

If there are some points in your lives that makes you feel together in a positive way, if you love to talk with him/her, if you think you can understand his feelings, if you feel that you two have built a solid relation and that you can watch yourself in the future enjoying life with that person, if you think about him/her when you want to make cool plans it's probably that this is your friend.

This is not a definitive answer, simply because we chose different parameters so classify friends it's something very emotional as love is. Hope yo understand my answe and i thank you for your question, i love those posts that make me think a lot before i make a response.

Friends are those people who listen and will try to understand you moat of the time.They are those people who are there to through thick or thin,in good times and bad times.They are the ones who cheer you up and bring a smile on your face, someone who lightens up your day,someone whom you can express your feeling s openly and tall your fears and most of all true friends are those who tell you honestly if you've done something wrong.


Some people are just acquaintances(this is a ahallow one), you dont know each other personally.This a relationship not yet tested.

True friends are like diamonds, They're quite hard to find nowadays but once you find them they are worth keeping forever.

Friends are people we love and enjoy talking to and be with. They are our shoulders to cry on. They are the people who sympathizes with us in our failures and the people we want to celebrate with, with our success.

In my dictionary, friend is someone who always understand me... always be there if we need something or in trouble. Friend always talk everything truthly... never said everything behind me...
