Have you ever moved away from a discussion because the person made it too long?

I have clicked on a couple of discussions only to click away because the person took like 4 paragraphs to ask the question. I can see if there is story involved but some are just too long winded I don't have a lot of time to read a lot of opinion before a discussion. Have you ever clicked away because you didn't have time to read a long drawn out question?

I like being on mylot because it is an awesome site it is a good place to make some extra money and also meet new people and learn new things, and I like finding discussions to respond to in which I feel I have a lot to say,and I especially like longer discussions because there is more I can say to it,and I have never left a discussion because it was too long, and I would never leave a discussion because it is too long, and personally to me a discussion will never be too long.

Yeah I admit that I have tried to read a long discussion but I get a bit ..not bored....but just feel like I can not read the whole thing. I guess it is because I am not in the mood? But yeah, I would rather read quick and simple questions. Happy MyLotting. -AidanKay.

Yes, if its a long post I won't answer it. I don't think people should have so much freedom to post long rants. There should be a character limit.

True, I just have to love when I read 4 paragraphs of text and still can't figure out what their question is or if they even have a question.

Fortunatly I have learned to read at a glance what the subject is about. I can do that in seconds in my native language, but I have grown proficient in English, here, at mylot. I don´t mind long, interesting, discusions. Poor discusions are not worth it, no matter how long or short. I´m for quality. Have a lovely day!

The more the discussion start is longer , the more time it will take me to answer to it and consider all of the ideas. I always want to respond a quality respond , and so I need to read and consider the whole start post. It takes me time to read and digest it. Like someone had said here (3 years ago) , when the start is longer , there are more things one can relate an answer to , so , it gives more freedom for a respond. Not everyone has to relate the whole topic and the whole paragraphs... I must admit that if I see a long starter , I will read a little and think about to leave it. There is a chance I will leave it with no respond , but , most of the time , I have an iron will to respond well , so I will not give up.
