After purchasing New Clothes, do you wear them directly? or washed?

I always wash them before wearing them! I have heard bad stories about clother dyed with toxic colors, or containign heavy metals that can pass through the skin, I definitely wash clother before wearing them. You never know what kind of chemicals were used on them.

To be honest. I do not wash my new clothes when I purchase them out of a store. I want them to still look brand new. If I wash them and then wear them, they are not going to look the same. They are not going to be brand knew. I like the fresh and the sense of newness.

On the other hand, I think it is best to wash the clothes before wearing them, because you do not know how clean the person was the tried the clothes on before you purchased them. It is not good to just trust that the person before you was clean. Also, some people have different types of skin diseases that can be contagious. You be cautiuous when purchasing clothing epecially for young children.

i wash them ofcourse, i can't wear them like that, but everioane can do what they want ....

I always wash new clothes, except for jeans and jacket, I know it doesn't look new anymore after you wash it, but this become a habit and it's because I don't like the smell of new clothes.

I always wash clothes before using them as not only in the production of the clothes but all the steps in between they get a lot of dust and some clothes have colours that may stain the skin if used before washing.

Just think of the process of clothing making from material transportation, cutting, sewing, ironing, packaging, etc. It is unavoidable the clothing get contaminated. Sure, I would not wear them until cleaning. Special attention should be paid to children clothing. As their skin is tender, so more likely to be hurt by whatever contaminations, and the first cleaning also helps to reduce unhealthy chemicals, if any.

I always wash and wear my cloths and undergarments I buy from the market, I don't know the proper reason to do so, but because of my habit of cleanliness I prefer to first wash new cloths before wearing them, I also suggest other to do so

Wash them. THe clothing has come into contact with many things on it's journey to be a piece of clothing. The cloth is on large bolts in storage houses, the cloth is then cut and stored until sewn. It is exposed to a lot of dust, dirt and other conditions. I always wash first, wear later.

frankly speaking i buy only good brands and i believe that they can be worn without giving them a wash. I have been doing this for years and have washed my clothes only if get them stiched from a tailor as there are chalk markings on them otherwise i dont feel the need to wash clothes before wearing them for the first time.
