Some people are still using bath soap to clean their bodies when they take a bath but there are lots who are using body wash, or body splash or whatever it is as long as it is not bath soap. I used both. I have body wash and bath soap. What about you? which do you prefer and what do you think is best to use? just curios!!!

I prefer body wash mainly because it is cleaner people don't touch what your washing with, and I think body wash smells better than a lot of soap.

if liquid soap is cleaner, why do they need to put preservatives in it? just a thought.

bath soap and body wash both smells good depending upon the brand but it is nice to use body wash once in a while or both at times.

I use a body wash, bath soap is too drying, and it can be harsh on your skin, and there are some soaps that I'm allergic to, so I think body wash is best to use for me.

I will not allow bar soap in my showers, because of the soap scum on the glass and tiles. I use shower gel which does not leave soap scum. I have a lavender shower gel in both showers, which is suitable for the whole family, and also an unscented moisturising shower gel for those who don't want the lavender. Shower gel is a little more expensive than bar soaps, but eliminates the use of strong cleaners, so is cheaper in the long run.

I tend to use a bit of both. but solid soaps are generally better. they are more hygienic (bacteria doesn't breed so easily in a solid soap as it does in a liquid soap. this is why liquid soaps always contain preservatives, but solids don't) and packaging free.

Oh yes, body wash is easier to use than soap. No need of rubbing it to your body to clean. Body wash is just easier that even kids can do it by themselves.

Hello Bebs, I can use both. It depends on what is available. I have soap at home, my husband uses it also. I also have an available body wash now, I am just waiting so the soap will be used up. Take care and have fun myLotting red_amethyst

Hi, I never use soap for my shower. I prefer to use bodywash. It is much more convenience and clean in a way. Because soap is tend to have soft texture after contacting with water,as for bodywash,it is store in the pump container and I just need to pump out some to my palm to clean my body and it has more bubbles.
