What is your favorite team in the NBA and who is your favorite player?

last and always, the Los Angeles Lakers, and Kobe
Bryant, he is the best. I agree the Spurs are right
in there, but for me its The Lakers and has been for
many years. I may be elderly but still love NB.A and my
lakers.yay, Lakers yay. Kobe.

I am probably aging myself here, but I love Shaq. I watched him at the Magic, then the Lakers, not so much in Utah, but maybe for the Cavs

My favorite team is also the Spurs. Tony Parker is one of the most entertaining players to watch, and San Antonio is a great town. Another top favorite is the Miami Heat.

I really don't have a favorite team in the NBA but I do have some favorite players. My all-time favorite player is Michael Jordan. Well, who won't? Jordan is obviously the greatest basketball player that ever lived and set foot on the basketball court. His leadership is unparalleled and his motivation, drive, and will to win is far more than anybody else. Jordan was the key component of transforming and propelling the Chicago Bulls to 6 titles in the 90's and made them the team of the decade. He's won numerous MVPs and several other individual awards. He owns the highest scoring average all-time for any NBA player from 1947 and he ranks third overall for the most points scored in a career (next to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone who both played more games than Jordan). Jordan is more than just a basketball star, he's a global icon.

Among the active players in the NBA right now, my most favorite is Steve Nash. Nash is a great point guard and leader as well. At 35 years of age, he's still keeping up and even does better than other young point guards like Chris Paul and Deron Williams. Nash is a very exciting player to watch. He can shoot, he can drive, and he can pass and he's got a really good sense of finding his open teammates. The drawback for Nash though is that the Phoenix Suns management is not really doing a great job of providing him the right support. Nash is more than capable of scoring 20 points and dishing out 20 assists per night. If only he's got better teammates around him then for sure the Suns can head somewhere far.

Next to Nash, my other favorite active player in the NBA is Dwyane Wade. Though he's a superstar, Wade is a blue collar worker. Though they've got Michael Beasley, Jermaine O'Neal, and guads Daequan Cook and Mario Chalmers, Miami's hopes rest heavily on Wade's shoulders. Wade can score 40 points easily every night. He's a relentless scorer and so hard to stop offensively. He's also terrific in defense. He can play the passing lanes and is among the best shot blocking guards in the NBA. Wade is a rare kind of player as he can lead a team all by himself. And how about his latest highlight? An in-your-face dunk over Anderson Varejao, that was sick, real sick. Wade will have another very solid season for sure and probably the MVP plum is in the waiting.

Nash and Wade are my favorite players in the NBA right now and there are also some that I like. Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Dirk Nowitzki, and Ben Wallace are the other players that I like.

I'm not really much into teams than players, I find myself following the star players more often than the teams. My two favorite players would absolutely have to be Kobe and Steve Nash. In my opinion those two are the most exciting players to watch in the league. They both pull out ridiculously amazing moves every game, Kobe dominates nearly every other player in the league with his perimeter shooting and basically all-around game while Steve Nash has the most electrifying assists while still shooting a high percentage. Kobe even shot an amazing behind the backboard shot a couple days ago.
