1. minx267 (1290) | 4 weeks ago | Probably a fish is best. They are not so messy a don't require a lot of time from the owner. And cheap to replace if they die.:)

2. earth2jacq (904) | 4 weeks ago | The best pet I can think of is a fish. It is not a high maintenance pet. No poop or urine to clean you just need to clean the aquarium every now and then. Plus you don't need to walk it. Feeding time is not that messy and they don't make loud sounds (they don't make any sound at all).

earth2jacq (904) | 4 weeks ago | since the fish is already suggested....may I suggest a snake or a lizard or a spider....all are low maintenance pets....or better yet a virtual pet would be nice.

3. my_name_is_coco (2145) | 4 weeks ago | an animal that can be kept in a small cage and doesn't really need exercise will do.a fish, iguana,or hamster can be kept in a cage and doesn't require exercise.as long as you leave them with food and water and make sure that the cage is closed before you leave,it's ok.you can't have a dog or cat in a dormitory since it will need private time with you.college life is a hectic, and you might neglect a dog or cat.
