RSS, or usually translated to "Really Simple Syndication", is pretty much just like an automatic updating system. when you subscribe to an RSS feed, your pages (or parts of your pages) are updated simultaneously as the published works you are subscribed to. as far as i know, RSS feeds are usually free..
