I sell all kinds of stuff. I sell for a company that stocks the products. I have sold vacuums, poker products, toys, tents, gun cases, many other things as well.

Thanks Cats, I was so happy when I saw that I made Top Seller status. I mostly sell for a company that stocks the products. I have also bought products wholesale and then sold them from my home. Right now I have 35 things for sale, with more to come. I am selling gun case, vacuums, carpet cleaners, a sewing caddy, poker table tops, poker chips sets, watches, kids ride on toys, I don't even remmeber all the stuff I have listed. As for how ebay works. you have to pay for listing items on ebay, each listing is different. You can have auctions or buy it now listings. You also have final value fees when someting sells. on top of that you have paypal fees when you get payment from your customers. I would be most happy to help you in anyway that I could. The best way to get started is get on ebay and educate yourself. Ebay teaches you whatever you need to learn. There is also a place to ask questions from other sellers and you can call ebay on the phone and also chat live with someone. Before you make things to sell, its a good idea to get on ebay and see how similar items sell and for how much. There is also another site that sells craft items and homemade things, that might be something to check on. I think the name of the site is Etsy, there probably are some other sites too. I have spent many hours in front of my computer learning and educating myself about ebay. Plus you have to kiss butt with customers, your at their mercy. But like here on mylot, most people are very nice, but you do run into the occasional nincompoop. Thanks cats.

CatsandDogs, Etsy is a good place to sell as far as the fees go. Promoting your site is what takes so much time. If no one knows you're there, you don't sell anything. Etsy has forums and help guides to help you get started and keep you going.

Etsy only charges .20 for each listing which lasts for 4 months if it doesn't sell. The percentage they charge for each sale is pretty low but I don't remember what it is.

Look into it. You might be able to set up shop on both Etsy and E Bay and see which one gives you the higest profit.

Thanks, never say never. When I first stated selling on ebay, I wanted to be a power seller, I thought that would be the coolest. But to tell you the truth I didn't think I would ever get there, and then I did. Good luck with your sales.

Thanks so much girlriend. I ain't left all of you, can't get rid of me that way. I haven't been with my new found love for over a week. Busy trying to make the almighty dollar. Christmas season is starting, gotta get ready for that. I have about 35 things for sale. Making the listing takes alot of time, plus researching how much to charge for the item and shipping charges. Its not always easy, plus you have to deal with customers that you never see, that can be tricky at times too. I still love it though, just had to share my becomming a Top Rated Seller with all of you. Plus I make a few extra pennies with a discussion, gotta make the money.

Awwww, thank you so much, Polly! Yeah, I've been here a couple of months now, and I'm enjoying it - most mylotters are lovely!

Thanks you so much. Ebay can be fun, but it also is alot of wok. If your willing to work and keep at it, it can be done. I'm just sitting at my computer, I don't have any special progams or special knowledge.
