Would you claim the reward?

If you had a friend that had a bounty on their head and you got paid if you turned them into the police, would you turn them in and take the cash? I think it would be a hard decision if it is someone you are close to. Would it depend on what they did? Or how much the reward was? All thoughts are welcome.

It sounds really difficult to respond in this situation. I think i will hesitate. Maybe first i will try myself to persuade him/her to give up hismelf/herslf to the ploce. Maybe this is the best for both of us. If failing and the case is so important, i will report it to the police becuase if i not, the police will find out and truth sooner or later and both of us will be put into prision. But i will not get the reward for doing that.

I agree with you. It would be best if they just turned themselves in. I wouldn't care about the money, but if it came down to it and I had to be the whistle blower I would still take it. Hopefully if the person is a good friend, they would turn themselves in so that it wouldn't get other people in legal trouble. Thanks for responding.

That would depend. What was the crime. If it was something like stealing or something like that I would not get involved. However, if they murdered someone, raped someone or did something to a minor I would turn them in with out consideration. Of course I would not let them know it was me that did it, after all they are a murderer, rapist, or child molestor, I don't want them coming after me or one of my kids if for some reason they do get found guilty. I would also probably move away if someone I knew well was one of those things.

It would be a really hard thing to deal with if someone close to you did horrible things to some one else. I would definately want to be anonymous, sometimes it's not possible if the courts need you to testify. Thanks for the input. Have a good day.
