Fort Hood Gunman Still Alive |
|
A soldier goes on a rampage killing at least 12 and wounding 31 others. At first it was reported that the gunman was killed but now we find out that he is in the hospital alive. He reportly was against the war and was suppose to be going back to Iraq later this month. My prays go out to all the families who have lost loved one and to the injured that they will all be well soon.

1. musicman6 (1738) | 3 weeks ago | I think there was something else wrong with him, other than opposition to the war! There are a lot of us opposed to the war, but we don't act irrationally like he did! What he did was worse than the war! He hurt innocent people, and to me there is no excuse for that, he should be punished to the full extent of the law!

3. muscles4me (8443) | 3 weeks ago | Yes he is still alive in I hate to sound hateful but I do not think they should do anything to keep him alive. He deserves to die. I also feel pity for all families involved including the gunmans family because they to are suffering.

lelin1123 (4081) | 3 weeks ago | I understand where you are coming from but don't you think death is to easy for him. I think he needs to suffer a bit then let him die. I can't imagine what these poor families are going thru. Here they are thinking their loved ones are on base in the states, they can have a bit of relief of worry and look what happens right on american soil. Pitiful! Thanks for responding.

4. ANTIQUELADY (11069) | 3 weeks ago | I have never seen such a mixed up mess of the reporting that was done on this. I hope he lives long enough to get the death penalty & that it's carried out immediately. I think there is still more to it than has been told. There is no excuse for what the crazy sob did.

lelin1123 (4081) | 3 weeks ago | In the beginning they thought it was 3 shooters but I now have only seen that its the one guy who is in the hospital under heavy security. I guess the whole story will come to light by next week.

6. suzzy3 (3911) | 3 weeks ago | What a terrible thing to have happened. The gunman is in hospital recovering,a doctor I beleave. To much death and injury,it makes you wonder what we would end up like with a job listening to everybody on a daily basis about how frightened and deal with horrendous injuries.Who looks after the doctors I wonder. My deepest sympathies go out to anyone who has lost a loved one in this dreadful situation .

suzzy3 (3911) | 3 weeks ago | There are so many people on the edge these days, but we must still go out and carry on as normal.Shutting ourselves away is not an option as that will make everyone parnoid. So many people suffer from stress related problems with the job market the way it is.plus some have the constant worry of losing their homes as well, with the season of good will coming up we must all make allowances for the less fortunate.I count my self so lucky my husband job is safe he is an HGV driver for a large supermaket and everyone needs food even if it is cheaper, they will still need to eat.So the lorries will still need drivers to take the food to the supermarkets.
