Fort Hood Gunman Still Alive

A soldier goes on a rampage killing at least 12 and wounding 31 others. At first it was reported that the gunman was killed but now we find out that he is in the hospital alive. He reportly was against the war and was suppose to be going back to Iraq later this month. My prays go out to all the families who have lost loved one and to the injured that they will all be well soon.

My thought and prayers are with the family. I also read this morning on the net, that there was more than one shooting, I haven't heard anything anywhere else about that.

In the beginning they thought it was 3 shooters but I now have only seen that its the one guy who is in the hospital under heavy security. I guess the whole story will come to light by next week.

..it's really sad story, what intrigue me is Maj. Hasan is army phychiatrist, why he did this horrible thing?...i understand he has dispute(against) with the war in Iraq and Afghanistan but why he end up like he is making the war in his own land..
it's horrible what happened, yup i'll pray for those wounded and families who lost there love one..

I know its must have felt like a war going on right on American soil. I don't know what is happening to our country but its really scary. There are so many people that are walking time bombs. Thanks for responding.

I think there was something else wrong with him, other than opposition to the war!
There are a lot of us opposed to the war, but we don't act irrationally like he did!
What he did was worse than the war! He hurt innocent people, and to me there is no excuse for that, he should be punished to the full extent of the law!

We may never know why he did it, not that it would change anything. The grief that these families are going thru I can't imagine. Thank you for responding.
