 Birthday cake always remind me of my childhood, because my grandma is a great baker and she always baked my birthday cake herself. I still remember how she baked it (the smell is wonderful) and how I amazed to see her decorated the cake. I always miss her dearly everytime I eat a birthday cake.

No one in my family could make them without burning them, and every time they would try they would fail. It would be awful. The house would fill up with the smell and then when the oven was open you knew that they weren't edible. I guess that's why every time there is a get together at my grandma's I make the brownies. Everyone laughs and says that I have to be adopted.
