awwwww, soo unfair. they should fight for their relationship . . . the girl should decide for herself, and not her mom. . but if there's really nothing to do, i think it would be better if your friend won't go to the marriage. both of them will be hurt, besides there will be no good outcome unless your friend will stop the marriage.

hey, in my case it would really upset me. i think it actually depends on people perspective about flowers. for me, flowers are romantic and i don't see it as it symbolizes death and insincere apology... why don't you just appreciate the effort of your lover? or else, try to explain to him/her how you feel when someone gives you flowers. i think she/he would understand you.
