Old Loves??????

depends on how in love with you were and if you were still friends. i'd want to find out what their up to, if it's only friendship then take your partner with you to meet them.

At my age the thought of doing this is so silly, I am almost reduced to hysterics just thinking about it!

I nearly got married to a lady in Manchester, England, in 1981. She crossed my mind again this week - it was her birthday last Thursday. She would have been .... 63 (shock, horror!). I do not know where she is any more. She may be dead. She might finally have fallen off her broom on Hallowe'en. No idea.

And the other girlfriends over the years before I finally got married in 2002? Well, it might interest me to know what became of some of them, but it would be a quick passing interest. I doubt whether I am all that concerned now. My wife loves me, what else would I need?

if i don't have any interest with that person, i wouldn't be bothering seeing him or plan what to do when i accidentally meet him. since, my ex already has a new love and i have mine too then there's no reason to waste time having dinner or whatsoever to that person unless he has been my friend for a long time.

Well i have recently gotten in touch with a high school boyfriend. And we just text each other and thats about it, We are just friends now. I wouldnt be able to go to dinner or drinks or anything else but talk, I would just tell him thats all I can do because I am married and love ny husband very much.

Why is it confusing you? Do you still have feelings for your old love? Maybe you can maintain contact with him, but don't expect anything to come out of it. As for me, I rarely talk or make contact with my ex. He just left a message a few days ago, though. But we're friends and we both have separate lives now, so there's no illusion of renewed flame whatsoever.
