If you see discussions you responded to a year or 2 ago...

It's me updating stuff here in mylot...I have discovered that I have about 67 pages of unresolved discussions & so now when I get a bit of spare time, I want to try & resolve all the discussions that no longer apply these days...
How long do you leave your discussions unresolved for? Do you ever leave some discussions forever unresolved?

hi there, i am coming here more than one month, so it counld not happen to me the unresoved discussion for 2 years. but i have some discussions unresolved for a long time, i did not reply to some reponses to my discussions, and i did not used to choose a best response to my disccssions ago, but i would resolve my responses immediatly.

Sometimes I resolve mine immediately but only if it's a problem that a fellow mylotter has been able to bhelp me with...others I leave open to get a variety of responses

Hi moonchild, I always keep it to no more than three pages, and just usually get rid of a couple at a time to keep it to 3 pages. I had 2 zero response ones which had been sat there forever until Mrs Somecowgirl kindly took it upon herself to rid me of them which means I don't need to see them everytime.
I have to ask because although I don't know one car from another and have no interest in them, is that your car? I love it, it reminds me of 'the Waltons'.

That's what I want to try & do - keep them down to a minimum.... I do however have ones that will be left open so I can try & get a variety of responses but I also have the ones that still have no answers to them - some over a year old but not to worry...
Unfortunately it' not my car...the people I was living across the road from about 18 mths ago hired it as their daughter got married & that's the car that took her to the church

Some discussions I will leave longer than others. It jsut depends on the dicuscussion and the responses that I received. I have one that is 4 months old, and I still haven't chosen best response. I probably will, but I am still getting responses to it, so I want to wait until a little later to see how things o before I give out the best response. I have responded to discussions that are lots older than mine, and they still haven't chosen the best response. I don't think that we have to give best response, but I di like to give it out as it lets the users know that I took the time to read their responses and picked the very best one. I do have a hard time choosing at times as I will get more than one best response, but because we can only give out one, I want to make sure I give it to the right onw, so I will reread the responses again, and go from there. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I too have a hard time trying to pick the best response sometimes unless it was a problem that a fellow mylotter has helped me solve on the spot. I have some discussion that are 6 months or older that get responses to every so often...those ones I will leave open I think. I too respond to discussions that are way older :)
