It is never a secret when someone else knows about it. Therefore, I don't usually say that it's a secret when my friend tell me something. I may not tell it to others and just keep it that way but usually, if a friend told me a secret, he will tell it again to someone else.

| kat_isobal (18) | 3 weeks ago |  i totally agree with you on this. once a person tells another about his or her "secret", then the word loses its sense. once a person shares something to a friend, it means he or she is trying to see if that person whom he shared it to also shares the same views he or she has, regarding the topic. and probably, the "sharer" wanted to see what advice he could gain from the "listener".

There maybe times when I am not sure on how to advise her or him that I will look for answers in others, but I will talk the matter in general without discussing about a specific person or naming anybody.
It's best to keep it that way because when a friend trusts in you, he or she expects his or her secret is saved with you. If you happen to reveal it to anybody, you will jeopardize your friendship.
