Chelsea's 0-1 defeat of Manchester United into now fall into the top three standings. However, Sir Alex Ferguson instead see it as a challenge for his team.
"This is Manchester United that we see today. We have a great squad and today we are reminded that a good team, "said Sir Alex on Sky Sports, commenting on action against Chelsea. Although he mentions losing, his team has played well.
"We were criticized a lot of people, but it's not going to make us fall mentally. We have a goal now, a major goal. We want to win the Premier League."

Again, I don't think this is too big of a loss as I though Manutd played really well. I though we didn't give any room for Chelsea to attack and we did create a lot of chances but we just didn't finish them.

Given the past record, Man U is usually at his best only after Christmas, so I guess if he is just around 4-5 points adrift of Chelsea at Christmas, he would take that and would prepare the team for the after Christmas assault.
Yesterday, I guess was a real dull match and I must say that Man U was the better team, but Chelsea got the goal.
Cheers!
Ram
