 Well am am so proud of my daughter,i have not told her yet,but i will.My daughter is 16 and her boyfriend is nearly 20,she dumped him a few weeks ago as he kept smoking drugs.This upset him so much as he thought she would not dump him all because of him taking drugs.She gave him the altermatum and he had a week to think about it.He has chosen her over his habit and she has been there for him all the time and it has now been 3 weeks he has not had any drugs.Are you proud of someone?

It is hard kicking a drug habit, we did (my husband and I) about 8 months ago, it wasn't as bad as somes habits, but I still did wrong, and I am proud to say that we both quit smoking cigs over 6 months ago  for us it is shocking for he smoked since about 4  YEAH I SAY TOO.. and me about 17.. We are 26 and 32 now. So, a long time, but thankful it is over. I am proud of ALL OF US..
I got to say I am so proud of my kids.. They are the best kids anyone could have ask for.. They listen, care, make the best of all things even ones they hate, know what peer pressure is, love, man I can go on and on about them...
I am sure thankful for them

I'm always proud of my mother though because she has a really good and kind heart. She's a very warm and generous person. I'm not saying that just because she's my Mother. My father is the exact opposite so there are rare moments when I've been proud of him. That itself is another story:-) | |

I am proud of him because these days, it is difficult to find one with such an uncompromising stand to sin. I think that your daughter should not have developed a relationship with someone like that who uses drugs. I think that after they will be together, it is easy for him to take back his old habits, unless there is a transformation inside.

That sounds great for her to give him the choice. I would also be proud of her too. Then lets not forget him too, he choose to have her instead of the drugs. He needs to told how proud you are of him.
I have a son that was in a real mess with the drugs. He has now learned what it was doing to his life and how he has lost because of it. He now wants to go into the schools and what not to teach what he knows now. I think he will and I am proud of him just as much...
