Are you fond of those free toys on value meals on fast foods?

Hi kafueenu! I absolutely love those happy meals from mcdonalds! I collected them since i was a kid but stopped as i grew older.. I used to have a spare room in my old house where i'd play with my sister. We put all of our happy meals toy there. I remembered the toys had wheels and a connector at the bottom. So we liked to connect many toys together and dragged them accross the room, going round and round like a train.. Lol! I love all those happy childhood memory!

not me, my kids they would order the package and leave eating to me.

When my children were still small, we were so fond of the free toys that go with the value meals that we ordered in fast food stores. We were actually "running after" every offer they promote. I have 3 children and that would mean 3 of each kind of toy. I remember ourselves going to the fast food store after we hear mass. They didn't get bored eating the same meal every Sunday just to collect the toys that went with the meal. Just recently, we even saw small pieces (after we gave away a number of them) that were still in their drawers and they were amused to reminisce those times when they played and had fun with the toys.

Yah,my kids did...they really like it,and were collecting almost every toys from fast food chains.
I also like it too,especially the Disney characters,they looks so cute and adorable and very nice to collect too

I used to work at McDonald's and back then they had those toys called Nak-Nak's. I collected as many as I could until I found them at Toys R Us. My kids were getting bigger and more toys (Burger King, Rally's, and a few others) accumulated. I got tired of it and started throwing them out. I now go through the toyboxes and take all those out, except the beanie babies and give them to goodwill. I hate those darned things. We get a spongebob collection going on only to find out that there are no more of the other kinds. Get's on my nerves. My kids love eating out because with every meal there is a new toy, gadget, or something that makes them happy. That's great for the moment until mom has to clean it up. Hi there kafueenu! I remembered when i was a kid, i am used to collect those toys from happy meal too but eventually stopped when i grow up. Every time i go to the fast food chain nowadays,i always go for the food that i will order and eat and not on the toy anymore.:) But i still have toys i got before from those stores anyway:)
That's the good thing about it!

My children love the toys from those kinds of places they think they are great.Some of the toys are a waste of time as you can not do alot with them at all.I do tend to throw them out after a few days or give them away in a charity bag as after a few days the children get bored of them.I did start collecting the coke cola glasses at one point as i liked those as well as they always come in handy as we always have lots of friends round.
