We always have the kid's parties at home, but a lot of people like to have them at restaurants or bowling allys or other places. Where do you have yours?

Hi ladym
Both my boys are adults now with their own kids. My youngest son had his sons party at home. Him and mom are divorced and so the my grandson got to have two parties . One at each house this year. When my boys was little we always tried to give them a party at McDonald or some other place. I think it makes it alot easier on the parents as well as the kids. Have a great day and keep smiling.

We have been to McDonald's parties they are fun. On my husband's 25th birthday we had a party for him at McDonalds but it was for adults. Most of us had not had kids yet, and if they did they were just babies. We told the girl to treat the birthday boy and all of the adults just like she did the children. We played games and he work a hat and a bib, it was absalutely histerical. He did not know he was going there for a party so it was a total shock he thought he was just meeting some friends to have dinner. We were all laughing so hard we were crying at some of the games and stuff we had to play and the way the girl was treating my husband like he was 6 it was great.

Oh I bet that was funny. I say the girl that waited on you also had a great time too. Just another point on why we should never let the kid in us die out. Good Job...

Well, our boys are pretty grown up now, so we aren't having birthday parties anymore. Our oldest son liked to have parties away from the house. He had them at bowling alleys, lazer tag centers, and movie theaters. Our youngest son always wanted to have a party at our house. They are so different. I enjoyed both kind. It was fun seeing them happy!

I don't have any kids anymore but when I my son was young we always had a party for him at the house. I really couldn't afford much though but I did the best that I could.

It depends, if we have the room we will, most of the time we look for a park so they kids can run free.

We have done both..my kids celebrate their birthdays together because they are only three days apart from one another. We have had their parties at home, the skating rink and bowling alley. I know that the kids like doing the parties at places like the bowling alley and skating rink but it starts to become to expensive at times. I think for as much money as you spend to rent these places out you can have it at your house invite more friends and family and make the kids just as happy, and most definitely make mom and dads bank account happier LOL....Happy mylotting.

We usually do it at home.
For me,it is more convenient to celebrate kids party at home,as well as for the invited guests and visitors.
Holding a party at different place is much laborious and more expensive rather than having it at home.
And,tendencies...friends and visitors were lesser when it is held in a far place that needs for them to travel.
And also,it doesn't need time limit compared to having rented venue where time is only limited.
Kids can't enjoy more of fun..unlike when it is done just in our backyard.

We've done the skating rink, bowling alley, and Burger King when we could afford it. I wish we could always afford it!
The past couple of year's since Steve bought the swimming pool, the kids are excited to have a swimming birthday party. And, all of the grandkids, and my middle daughter all have summer birthdays, so it gets lots of use for it.
