Some kids don't like the texture of some foods. I wouldn't force her to try to eat it. But even if my kids didn't like fish I sure wouldn't cook extra chicken or steak for any one of them. There would be plenty of other food for them to eat. I have heard that having a food put in front of a child 12 times they will begin to accept it.

sorry, my friend, I have no ideas for, if she really do not like to eat fish,I suggest you'd better do not force her to eat fish. by the way, I like to eat fish very much.

Try sliced fish fillet rolled into bread crumbs, it will look like chicken fillet but once they get the taste, they will love it. Prepare a good sauce, sweet and sour and thick.

When I was a kid and a teen I hated fish, but I outgrew that and now I like it, so maybe it's just a stage. The only ways I'd eat it were, either frying it like fish cutlets you can make with pangasius or pollack or similar fishes, or roasted but then with a lot and I mean a lot of mayonnaise, or that was just for pollack, I liked them cooked in the pan with lots of tomato sauce and capers. What I can tell you is basically I would tolerate fish in preparations that would cover the 'fish taste', so just consider using a lot of spices and tomato sauce...and things like that. Not sure it can help, but maybe that's an idea.

Well, I think the best way is either to tell her it's not fish, just make up some special name for it. If she's too old to get fooled that way, try giving her tuna, she'll probably eat a bit of it at least, cause it really looks like meat, when it's cooked (not from the can...).

Hello Debbie, I have two children and lucky for me for they are not picky eaters. My three year old son loves fish and I dont have any problems with him, my daughter who is 13 years old is not a picky eater as well. But I have a cousin whose children are picky eaters at first and she makes sure that she cook meals that can hide the veggies, and for you it will be the fish. Make meat balls out of fish and put a little bit of food she likes to eat. Does she likes cheese? Then make the fish into a ball and put cheese in the middle. Or you can also make chicken lollipops and stuff it with fish inside. Hope this will help. Once she is used to the taste already she will enjoy eating fish already. Or try to feed her fried fish, fried fish does not have the fishy smell. Goodluck
