when it comes to the belife in modern day magic and spells there are two camps; the believers and the skeptics. the skeptics do not believe in the hocus pocus and practice of today 's pagan adn withes, in turn, the pagans and witches accept magic as readily as we accept the belief that gas prices wil be higher in another month
spells for love, success, luck and a number of others that are beneficial are still performed by withes, althought they claim to be white witches andtheir spells are harmless, love spells are as popular as ever and are some of the easier spells one can cast. beginners can do it or you can pay a professional witch to do it for you. but do love spells really work?or are they just as the skeptics claim:a lot of mumbo-jumbo?

I do not believe that love spells (or any spells) work in the way that people commonly suppose them to. They are, indeed, 'a load of mumbo-jumbo'.
What I do believe, however, is that our own attitudes and expectations can affect the outcome of a situation. Many 'spells' (and prayers) are actually made when the outcome is actually forseeably promising, so, of course, when the object appears to have been achieved, the person's faith in spells or prayers seems to be vindicated. There is also the possibility that, by making a spell or a prayer, our own belief in the efficacy of it actually affects the ways in which we respond, making the outcome more likely to be a success. This is the principle behind 'The Secret' and many other techniques of achieving success, health, wealth or whatever.
In short, spells are harmless only if you don't believe in them. The practice of magic can be very dangerous, especially if you don't understand what is going on. The real harm is in what it may do to your mind by practising it or believing in it, not in any actual effect caused by a supposed outside agency ... God, spirit, devil or whatever.
