I found a two disc movie at Walmart a couple weeks ago. They were two Ernest movies, Ernest Goes To Africa & Ernest In The Army. I always loved the Ernest movies when I was growing up and thought that my children would love them too, so I nabbed the movies up for only $5. My almost 3 year old son watches them and he thinks Ernest is hilarious. I remember watching Ernest Goes To Camp & Ernest Goes To Jail...man, there are so many Ernest movies. Jim Varney was a wonderful and funny actor. Did you ever watch Ernest movies when you were growing up or do you still watch Ernest movies?

I think my sons use to watch them but i really didn't care for them much. I like very few comedians. I THINK THEY ARE SILLY INSTEAD OF FUNNG. sOUND LIKE AN OLD GRUMP BUT I'M REALLY NOT.LOL

I think everyone has different likes and dislikes when it comes to comedy. There are some comedians I like and some I dislike, it's just a personal preference for us all!

I love watching Earnest movies! I have Ernest goes to Jail and I have seen all of them I had thought till you mentioned Ernest goes to Africa I have never seen that I will have to look for it. Me and my hubby love watching them. I didn't have a television most the time and my mom wouldn't even let us watch The Simpson's growing up, anything they considered stupid..so I didn't get to really get the full effect of Ernest till after I had married and we was able to watch what we wanted. I also like Jim Carey alot since sometimes he reminds me of Ernest..lol

I used to watch those movies when I was younger. My son had a copy of Ernest Goes to Africa, but he never really got into it. I only remember Earnest goes to Camp and Earnest Goes to Jail from my childhood.

Yes, he was..and I've probably seen his movies a dozen times each, and every time they're still as funny as the first time. He was a good actor, and he's missed.
