Given a choice what do you prefer to watch - a movie at a theater or a sports event at a stadium? and Why? Personally I prefer to watch a sports event at a stadium any day because of the spontaneity of the fun there. Cheers! Ram

I really like both but I have to think that the situation which could likely prevent me or encourage me to go to the two venues in each separate time would be likely fall into my interest. Although, if i am going to choose between the two if their is no other option. I decide to go to watch the movie theater it is more cheaper in my areas, asides from it rarely happen that their is a sports events held in my places as those small sports events are likely most held in the open field where the audience could watch freely with no need to pay for an entrance.

I prefer to watch a sports event at a stadium for the fun and excitement. There's just no match to feeling when you're watching a event in person as when you compare it to watching it on TV but of course the drawback is you have to make some sacrifices in going to the event, fall in line and sit side by side with other watchers. But the adrenaline rush you got is more than enough to compensate the convenience of watching an event on TV. Cheers!

Exactly what I too like about live events. And you are right some sacrifices are required, I do miss watching action replays, but now most of the Indian stadiums are investing in giant screens where they do show action replays as well. Cheers! Ram

None of the above. I prefer watching sports events on TV (actually live online on my PC) to watching movies on my PC. I rarely go watching movies at a theater as of the sports events - I go to the stadium even rarer. I like sports very much, but the people in my country are very rude and the conditions at the stadium are very poor, so it's not very pleasant to go see a match at the stadium. I've only seen 3 football matches in my life (all national team's matches), but recently I've discovered a much better atmosphere at the rugby stadium, so I might go see more national team rugby matches in the future. To conclude - I prefer staying at home and watching sports, but in the unlikely probability I get out of my house, I choose the rugby stadium.

Somehow in India any sports event is like a carnival and you have a whale of a time. The only flip side is the infrastructure, there is usually too many people and less space in the stadium, so that is sometimes a turn off. Cheers! Ram

i don't like sports, expecially soccer, here in italy all the tv is full of soccer, i hate it. I prefere to watch movies on my pc or in a dvd or divx player, something i've downloaded or bought. In italian tv there is only thras and sports, all connected with economic interests, so i don't watch sport. I watch a movie every week, or 2 on a single week.

Even if you do not love any specific sport, I would recommend that you do go and watch any one event live. You might start having a different picture of it from then on. Cheers! Ram

I prefer sporting event too. but I like it in a convenient way just watching at home. once I tried watching in a stadium for a kick-boxing match it was fun but I missed the convenience of home. so it is just the combination of both watching a sporting event on my tv.

Yes, you do miss your action replays and a close-up view, but then you get the fun of the surrounding and live reactions of people around you. Cheers! Ram
