Besides your family ,what would you literally die for? Me,I would lay down my life so everyone on this planet could have the right to choose the religion they want to follow.Or have the choice to not have a religion at all. That way if you are not of the popular religion in your homeland, your rights to practice your religion would remain. How about you?

What would I be willing to die for? Quite the question when you start to narrow it down. I have been known to say I would die to go to a certain sporting event, or I would even kill to be stuck in a cab with Steve Izerman. When you take the question seriously..I guess I would have to say that I would be willing to give up my life if I knew it would promote tolerance. Like you for religion. or racial tolerance. Tolerance that would allow people to choose for themselves how they wanted to live or whom they wanted to live with. Tolerance of things different and misunderstood. But you have to promise that it would happen, I'm willing to give up my life for it..but there's alot of Hockey season left, if you don't think it will work right away, ask me again after play-offs. LOL

That's my problem, I don't think big enough. I have a Shannie jersey, I was sad when he went to New York, I still miss hearing the Irish jig at the Joe. I saw him score 2 goals in like 14 seconds one night and he did look good doing it. So we are agreed? We are willing to be martyrs..but not until after the play-offs?

Outside of my family I dont think I would die for any person but I may die for my ideals like my religion,my beliefs and my right to express my god given freedoms.I odnt think that persons should let other persons take some fundamental rights from you and these should be rights that you are willing to die for .

Agreed. And being able to choose your own personal path to the Deity of your choice is one of those freedoms

My husband, and I completely agree with what you said about religion, but also for women, so they no longer have to be opressed by male domination. It really sucks how men all over the world still opress women. It's one thing if women and men are in a mutually consentual relationship where she obeys him, but it's another thing when men force women to obey, and opress them.
