How do you clean your house(with hand mop or vacuum cleaner)

M not into the cleaning process and have never helped in cleaning my house to be honest.In fact my mom and dad would get the shock of their life if they even see me with a broom in my hand,m too lazy .Most of the cleaning work is done by our house maid like cleaning the floor everyday.Yeah but once a month my mom dad have a cleaning session of the entire house and they mostly use a vacuum cleaner for it as it helps in completing the work faster rather than using a hand mop.M mostly told to clean up the mess in my room but till date that has not been possible .Have a good day,enjoy mylotting!!

Hi neelima , i used to clean my house by using hand mob only. I am very comfortable with that only. In case of vaccum cleaner , we have to maintain it properly. We can use vaccum cleaner for cleaning tiny dusts in the sofa sets , chairs etc.

I clean my house most of the times using hand mop and not the vacuum cleaner since I am using the latter it never really clean all those dust which are accumulated inside the floor mat. Thus, I still need to clean using hand mop it clean more quickly although it make the hands dirty, you could see the final results all over the areas is hygienically clean.

I have a maid who takes care of cleaning my house. I live in India and the salary of servants is very cheap here. I have a servant who cleans my house, does laundry, and washes vessels only for 10 dollars. I make around 10 dollars in a month from Mylot. I can use that money to pay for my maid. She does a big part of the work which I am supposed to do. We don't have a vacuum cleaner at home. She sweeps and mops the house daily.

I am using hand mop to clean the house and we don’t have vacuum cleaner at home. Since we are staying in rented home we opted out many things just for the convenience of shifting work. We are cleaning our house on everyday basis and deep cleaning is on Sundays. In city there is much dust and we have to clean it on weekly basis. I think your home must be in a pleasant atmosphere and there won’t be much dust so monthly deep cleaning is enough.

We use hand mop in cleaning the house. we don't have a vacuum cleaner right now so we do it manually. it's fun because all of us are involved in cleaning the house. i assigned my two kids make up a particular corner or area. after the cleaning session my husband will treat us for snacks...pizza or i will come a merienda for them. great family bonding time very productive!

I bought eurekha forbes company vacuum cleaner few years back. It worked for three times, fourth time fuse went off. I got it repaired by shelling down Rs. 1000/- and after one use, again fuse gone. Again I got it repaired for the same amount and again the fuse gone. I wanted to exchange it to the new vacuum cleaner of the same company. They told after exchange, I will have to pay Rs.4,500/- more. I thought it is waste of money. More over what is the guarantee that at least this will work properly? So I am cleaning manually. My servant maid says she has dust allergy. She has many objections and rules like dust allergy, steps claimbing problem, cannot wash breakables like glass, porceline etc. So no help for me from her side.

we usually just use a vacuum cleaner to clean our apartment.. we only clean like once a month or something, cause my siblings and I are too lazy to clean the apartment... heheheh.. anyway, vacuum is the fastest way to do it, that's why we use it.

Every few days I use a broom and carpet sweeper which is not electric and easy to use because there are no annoying cords and once every couple of months I will vacuum the whole house thoroughly although the carpets have to be done at least once a month. I wish I could afford a cleaner and a cook because these days I detest both jobs with a vengeance! Cleaning bathrooms and toilets is not much fun either I must say!
