Best Biography or Memoirs?

My hubby reads a lot of biographies but I find a lot of them bore me and only occasionally pick one up. My favourites have been Mr Nice by Howard Marks, Broken Music by Sting (because it isn't a typical rock star biography), Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt, and The Sound of Laughter by Peter Kay - because it was so funny. What are the best ones you ahve read?

The memoirs of Lee Kuan Yew, since he's the founding Prime Minister in my country. It's nearly impossible to get another person to write a book like that. After all, how many countries have capable and successful founding President or Prime Minister who leads the country to independence, and from independence to success?
