Do you prefer to socialise at home with friends or to go out?

I like to do both. If the appointment is after office hours, then we do it in a restaurant because I don't have time to cook, or too tired to do it. But in the weekend, I would rather that they come to my house, or I go to theirs, because then we can dress casually, hang around all day, sit leisurely, laugh out loud, tease each other, take my dog with me, and do a lot of things together ( and not spend too much money).

I usually prefer to stay home. I don't go out much. I have a couple of friends here in the neighborhood that I hang out with sometimes, but I am actually becoming somewhat of a recluse. I have to deal with people all day long at work, so when I get home, I usually prefer to retire to the privacy of my office, or to just sit and watch TV. I have found that my puppy dogs are really cool, and that they do not cause me any trouble. They are also not aggravating the way people are, so I usually just hang out here with them. All I need now is a lock to put on my office door so that my wife can't bother me as much LOL

I do both. I like having friends in and cooking a special meal and not having to get all dressed up and get the car out and get somewhere. We can eat leisurely and they go home when they are ready and not because the restaurant needs the table for the next customers (or it's late and the staff want to go home). If it's to celebate something then we will organise to go out but that's expensive too so it doesn't happen so often nowadays.

Hi there Ice Smile. I think in my case it depends on the mood, of the friends in question, of the availability of my girlfriend... and maybe other factors. The answer would have to be both ways, i mean indoor with friends and out door (for the second one the weather may have a strong influence on the decision).

Hey icesmile! I like to do both! I like to have friends come over to my home and cook for them! But, when it comes to going out to a restaurant I usually go with "the girls"! My boyfriend is so cheap and usually doesn't want to spend the money so it is easier for me to out with the girls and not have to worry about what we spend because we know how to do it "the right way"! And we tend to have more fun and be more relaxed when it's just "us girls" anyway!

I prefer to go out to see friends not unless it is during the day when the children are not here then i like friends to come to my house.

My husband and I prefer to meet people at the coffee shop.
