Punishment

My neighbor and I went to see another neighbor outside the other night,. We started talking when she disclosed to us that her and her husband had a fight and he took their daughter to a birthday party and left her at home. She said he told her she needed to be by herself and she was on punishment.... I looked at her and could not help but bust out laughing... As most of you know I have become a very strong woman after 14 yrs of abuse with my ex....When my husband now and I got married we vowed not to treat each other like dirt..... So to hear her say this was just so funny..... In the mist of it all she is a big girl (not fat or anything) but compared to her husband he is just a skinny little thing but tall.... I could just see her body slamming him..... I just had never heard this punishment thing before.... I asked her if that was the new thing that these young people call it..... Although his ideal of punishment and hers was different.... We went to her house and she came out of the neighbors house.... She drank a wine cooler and we sit outside and laughed for hours..... no kids, no interruptions,,, just three crazy girls having a good time. Has any of you heard of punishment? What would you do if your significant other told you"You are in punishment" Male and Female respond for different views..... funny HuH!!!

That's what I say.... She was laughing about it also.... My husband came home and she was even and telling him and he told her that she should of told him to go to h*ll... I looked at her and said in front of mine.... I would like to see my husband put me in punishment and he said smiling the only punishment I get is in the bedroom and then a whole nother conversation started..... By the way they both act like children and they have a child together..... Just think when she grows up and her husband tells her that she has to stay in the house and forbids her to go anywhere she is going to think that is ok

Its funny to laugh at a person. but you could have been a little more polite. i seems like she is a very brittle person. these kind of people always get laughed at. over stress can lead to ugly things. hope she did not take it seriously

No she did not take me seriously in fact she would tell people that she could not go out of the yard because she was on punishment and then she would jump into the rocks.... She was the one making a joke about it..... I just thought it was a funny way of putting things

hagirl just once but this was from a young man in a different culture where he felt his girlfriend and fiancee has to ask his permission before she could watch a movie on television or go anyplace . I was just dumbfounded and as much as told him there in the US grown women do not have to ask permission to go anyplace from husbands or boyfriends either. If my husband had told me I was in punishment I am afraid I would have given him the back of my hand. he he he. He would have laughed himself silly if he had heard of this; he had a ripe sense of humor and he would never have thought of punishing me for something. how funny. we were both of scotch irish descent. so we had tempers but we seldom ever really fought.we just had disagreements which we worked out as we loved each other.

As I mentioned my husband thought it was ridiculous hisself.... Even at that my husband came home, talked to us a few minutes, gave me a kiss and said he was going in.... If it would have been hers he would have asked her if she was coming in or told her to come in..... Not cool at all....How embarrassing... I do know what that would of felt like cause my ex was a a** like that also

I think I would laugh my butt off to him. He doesn't do anything like that, he maybe an idiot but, not that big of an idiot He knows that I was with someone that abused me for a period in my life and I won't put up with that crap. That is so funny but, it is also so sad that women put up with men like that.

I mean she was laughing too.... Like I said I could just imagine her body slamming that man.... Putting it all aside.... I was abused for 14 years and I am 39 years old.... My best friend is 26.... I do not know if it is because I do not act my age because of the box I was in for so long or if she acts older (I think a little of both) I try to instill on these young women though the ideal that we do not have to take this from no man..... It is not love when they treat you like that ..... It is all about control
