What if you and your best friend share the same girlfriend?

What do you do if you are 40% in love (say) with a girl and one of your closest friends is head over heels in love with that same girl. Oh, and you only have three months to utter the 3 magic words ( if at all ) because after that you may not see her in the flesh again.

if your friend is already the girls bf then let it go if hes really your friend. or better yet dont fight over a girl. if both of you want her then dont bother.

well, if going to reverse the question my best friend shares the same boyfriend as I am. Then, I really love the guy, i may act like a selfish it is like a competition. I would rather make it a point to end up as a winner and may the right girl win..lol.
