Hello friends and dear mylotters,
I just wonder what's your opinion on this matter.
Let's say,it is your friend that died and he/she borrowed money from you but his/her family doesn't know about it.
Would you asks the family to pay the debts?
Waiting for your comments and responses,and have a great weekend ahead dear friends and mylotters

hi jaiho^^;;
i don't about the law here where in i just read above post so this is just my personal decision and it would be no. so far the highest loan i had to a friend was about $400 and it was already paid and i am no way lending such or higher again just to anyone..just to a very close friend that i know his/her family.
if it would be lesser like what the others say then i would just consider it as my donation to him/her and his/her family.

Hello friend,
I also don't know much about laws regarding debts.(i don't have any credit card either)
I also don't lend big amount of money,unless with emergency cases which i can't resist with close friends and loved ones.
But i don't have much big amount of extra money to give also.
And if,in any case,the situation goes like this...and the money borrowed is not too much big...i would rather leave it as a donation to the family.
Thanks for your response and happy mylotting

Hello bird,
You are right friend,that depends on the situation if the family had the capacity to pay the debts or not.
I will also do the same,i would rather forgot about the loan.
I will not add more burden to the bereaved family as well.
Thanks for your response and have a happy weekend
