How many of you feel that companies have exploited employees in the name of recession? Be it laying of people, or cutting their benefits and perks, the common employee has had to bear the brunt. The top guys in the company still continue to top the Billionaires list. What do you feel about this? Do you think this is true or do you think that they have been fair to their employees?
Cheers!

I think that a lot of companies have used the recession as an excuse to "clean" the office, so to speak, of employees that they don't really like - personally or professionally. And i do agree that there are those who are taking advantage of making everyone part-time workers so they don't have to pay for benefits and what-not. This recession/depression has made me realize that it's a dog-eat-dog world. And there are those genuinely nice people - who stand out in this kind of world.
