I have allergies. And sometimes my sinuses drain. If I am sleeping, when I wake up it affects my vocal cords. I have gone around all day sounding like a Muppet. The kids have found this very funny. Especially when trying to discipline one of my nieces. My voice cut out and then SQUEAK! the room erupted in laughter. Had a similar experience?

I have sinus issues to but they affect me differently although sometimes in the morning I am horse or perhaps a little squeeky but the first thing I do after I go to the bathroom in the morning is get a drink of juice or water so that helps. My sinuses can sometimes give me horrible headaches. The best thing to do for anyone with sinus problems is to drink a lot of liquids it helps clear things out. A nice warm shower also always helps and to be honest sometimes a good cry and help too, it really loosens every thing up.

Yes I do. First thing in the mornings it takes a while to get my voice into shape. Whenever I get a cold, even if it's only a slight one, I can lose my voice altogether, which is a pain because my job involves talking all the time.
