hi jugsjugs^^;;
i stay at home most of the time nowadays so drinking here would mean nothing except of getting drunk if ever we(drinking buddies who are available) drink to much.
although staying at home is cheaper because we can cook our own food or side dishes and the drinks will also be cheaper because we will buy them on stores, the cleaning up after would surely ruin the fun
so i'd rather go out and enjoy another atmosphere and ambiance while listening to some bands playing on the background. and yes, we sometimes encounter other people and old friends and lost friends

We keep a couple of bottles of our favourite things to driink (vodka, and Croatian plum brandy) in the house when we want a drink at home, but we also live next door to the A N A F, so we can go there for a drink too on occasion, since my husband is a Viet Nam Veteran.

When I was younger and went out more I would have the girls come over early. We would have a few drinks, listen to music and get in the mood before we went out. It was more fun, saved alot of money and then we were not out early and burned out so early as we would if we just went out.

We used to have this bonding-drinking session at home especially during friday night-- me and mu husband plus our therapist enjoy a drink before the massage session starts. This gives me a relax and a good night sleep.
I prefer to drink at home with my husband and friend/s and sometimes with my bros and sis. It's fun sharing stories, jokes and plans.

I also like to drink at both place. But I don't like one person drinks, I like drinking with friends. Being out at a pub or restaurant is a good idea. Drinking on the outside is clean and unrestrained. I and friends may talk, drink and smoke. We may talk about anything, and sing. It is really a pleasant thing.

sometimes i'll make an exception if there's a good band playing in town.

I much rather stay home and drink. It's far cheaper at home making it myself than to go out to a bar or pub. Besides, if I get a bit tipsy, I don't have to drive anywhere for I'm already home! lol Now I can have my friends over if they want to get together and watch a movie or what not and we can all drink together and all can stay over night for I'm taking the keys.

i do not drink. but i hope i can make a suggestion. i will tell a short story first. my wife's friend dian her husband works abroad but last week was killed at a bar drinking out with friends. poor dian and her daughter. if you drink outside and even you are not the one who started the fight something like this might happen. scary things like this. then again i know others wanted to drink outside because of the ambiance. just take care.

I am not a drinker but I prefer drinking at home in the quiet confines of my home butI can appreciate drinking out with my friend when I do go out occasionally.Drinking with friends is not about the liqu_or but about the socializing and taht is what I do mostly when I go out and I dont drink hard liqu_or,so much so that sometimes my friends laugh at me at the light drinks taht I order but they still enjoy my company

Hello jugsjugs, my husband and I are not big drinkers, we will drink maybe two or three times a year and it is usually in the summer time when we go camping. If we do decide to have a drink it would be at home, we don't like going out to the bars. We have been into a bar a total of four times since we got together 11 years ago and that was only because he was playing out in a band at the time and that was where the shows where at. I think bars are over rated and seem to have the same old people with the same old problems and drama along with it and that is something I rather stay away from.

I do not drink anymore but if I did I would prefer to stay at home and drink. You do not have to worry about getting into your car to drive home and then hope you will not get stopped for drinking and driving which is very dangerous anyway. What you spend on drinks is just to high and I can fine other things to spend my money on.

Actually it does not matter whether I drink at home or I drink outside. At home is another thing. It will be more cheaper because you might have bought a drink from a supermarket that cost less. Until outside, you use the facilities of a restaurant, therefore, by just drinking, you pay more than its original prize. So it is good to have a drink at home with friends too, for a better conversation. On the other hand, to drink outside also help us meet our friends outside or while waiting for others to arrive. It is also a good way to see a good weather outside and to be outside once in a while. Keep posting. Happy mylotting. Have a nice day.

Nothing beats being in a pub, drinking, and watching a game. The atmosphere and energy within is electric. Specially if your team is winning. Everybody is shouting, everybody is drinking more. Giving high fives to people you don't even know.
Sadly, it's been a while since I've been out in the pub with friends. So, I go for the next best thing. Which is drinking at home.
