You can find many coaching classes, they are teaching us to swim. In our city we have one of the swimming pool. They ask some amount of money for hour. With in that they teach us to swim. When you practice for more than a week, you can do it. To learn swimming you should not have fear.

I learned swimming when I was a kid. I was forced by my parents, and I absolutely hated going to swimming lessons, but not I must admit that being able to swim is pretty useful, and I also have lots of fun when I go to the swimming pool in summer.

Friend don't hate swimming. Some doctor's advised swimming is the best exercise rather than any other. When we swim all our muscles will act and it help to have a fine blood flow in our body. You are correct, swimming in summer is best and it was enjoyable.

I have learnt to swim. Though I am not a great swimmer, I can keep myself afloat for some time and can swim to a nearby place. The problem with swimming for me is stamina though, currently I am very low on the stamina when it comes to swimming. I think basic swimming is a must for all. Cheers! Ram

Yes, I know how to swim. My mother took me for swimming lessons when I was about 4 years of age. I love to swim but don't get the opportunity to do so very often. But I remember teaching my first dog to swim. It was very funny as he would only walk in the shallow waters and was afraid to go out deep to where he couldn't touch the bottom. So I went out into the water and because of his love for me the dog cried on the shore and finally jumped in the water and swam out into the deep water to reach me.. He was splashing the water a lot and I had to hold him up when he reached me.. but after that I couldn't keep him out of the water. Once he learned he wasn't going to drown... :) he swam everywhere we went for many many years, and he taught my 2nd dog how to swim and so he always went swimming with a partner. I still laugh over that day.. He was so funny to watch flailing about thinking he was going to drown. He didn't know that being part Labrador he had webbed feet that were made for swimming.. he had more of an advantage than I did.. lol

Yes, swimming in winter is so challenging thing. How long you will swim.Because during winter if we swim for 30 minutes we get shivering and cold.

Yes, I do know how to swim, but I only like to swim when I am around the right people, other than that, I do not like to swim very much. I am not much of a water person.
