Are studies more beneficial in india or abroad??

Well, I'm not Indian, but my feeling is that as long as many people go abroad to study it'll create the impression that the domestic education system is not quite up to par. This may just be in people's heads, but it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy...the students who stay at home don't feel as capable as their comrades who study abroad, the professors start to wonder if they're not second-rate, the students who come back from abroad feel they are superior, etc. Nowadays the Internet has become a great equalizer in education. Even if your university has limited resources, students can gain knowledge from all over the world. It'll take some time, though, for people to change their ways and not necessarily seek out degrees from the elite schools just because of the school's reputation.
