Maybe the killer and Julie's attacker is .... / myLot

So Angie is the reason the new family is on the run and hiding out. She killed some guy. So maybe Julie's attacker and the killer of the waitress is a relative of the guy Angie killed who has found them and it trying to hurt her whole family by framing them or killing their love interests such as Julie.

I still think it is Dominic. He just seems guilty to me and he was the last one there. I also thought that maybe it is the one kid that worked at the shop too. The girl who was killed obviously knew who her attacker was.

I had the impression that she just knew the attacker had been in earlier. The attacker could be framing Dominic and could have been their while he was there and left and come back. Dominic might know the attacker or that he/she is a relative of the guy Angie killed.

I really don't think that Angie's husband was the one whom tried to kill Julie. I mean; it's apparent that he wants Julie back, but not to harm her, in a way. My guess is that Julie's attacker is the person whom has a vengeance on Angie and her family. My guess is like yours too..
