I noticed that the autism interest discussions are dated way back. Have you solved all problems or have you gone to another spot to chat or are you head over heels in a mess and haven't the time? My son is autistic and I'd like to friend people that understand, having or going through the same. What are you focusing on now?

We're still around and we'll join in the discussion on autism if you bring one up. Trust me, we still have the problems with our kids!
If you need advice or just need to rant, we're here.

My daughter receives disability. I used to do child care. Now I write.
My daughter eased through adolescence which I was very happy about but even at 22 she still has her issues. Her reasoning skills have improved over the years and the flare ups come less often.

I hope my son also ease through adolescent.I remembered toilet training time was the worst, just knew about him being autistic, not much knowledge plus another baby a few months old and to top it all, with financial problems and hubby not around ( abroad ). Now life is a lot better though we still have problems. You
mentioned yours 22, is she talking, working, married? You write now instead of babysitting. How much do you make per month?

I just got serious about the writing so it hasn't made much. I just published my first novel and it's just starting to get a few sales.
I also have some articles on Helium.
My daughter was working, but she isn't right now. She was supposed to start cooking school and that hasn't happened yet. I really don't see marriage in her future, but never is a long time.
Potty training was horrible! I think she was almost 5 before she was fully trained.
