Did You See The Hit On Vokoun From His Own Player? Incredible!!!

Did you guys see where Keith Ballard from Florida hit the goal post because he was angry and accidently hit his own goalie Vokoun in the head? He only ended up with an ear laceration but my goodness!!
I showed this to my 12 year old and told him this is what can happen when you get angry on the ice. Good lesson for the young hockey players and the so-called Big Boys too I guess!!
I think the guy was an idiot!! Well, I would choose some other words but you can't say those on this site. Hee Hee!!

I saw the highlight! And I was listening to sports talk radio going to work today. They were discussing if Ballard should get penalized by the team for what he did. One guy was saying that the embarassment alone of seeing this TV highlight for a long time, and having his name associated with this mental f@rt is punishment enough!

He's lucky Vokun didn't hit him back. A couple of years ago Chelios got mad during a game and broke his stick over the back of the net, the stick shattered and a piece of it hit the linesman standing there, Chellie tried to apologize but the guy was interested, it was too little too late. Not Chellies finest moment.
You're right about the lesson..sometimes a bad example can be a good one.
