I recommend Anilao and Verde Island in Batangas. Verde Island is one of the best diving places in the Philippines due to its pristine clear waters and nice under water view. The Verde Island Passages is considered to be the "Center of the Center of Marine Shorefish Biodiversity" in the world. It has been declared by a team of marine conservationist last 2006 which really makes it one of the best places for scuba diving in the Philippines.

I was watching your country on the TV last night, on National Geographic. And I just thought WOW. I've never done scuba, but I've just written some articles for a holiday site, and every time I typed water sports scuba diving went in.

Here in the UK it's too murky and cold, but I bet swimming in the Phillipines is like being in a fish tank!
