do you believe in God? How will you know God?  

i don't mean to offend anyone,because we all have the right to choose what we like to believe in,thanks for your respond..;)

I'm curious who your God is, if you dont mind sharing? I'm not starting a debate, I am sincere in wanting to know.

i believe in the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit... and i also believe that they are one for the holy Spirit represents Christ Jesus and Christ represent the Father...why did you ask? thanks for asking,don't worry i don't like debate also... i respect any opinions and beliefs..

wonttakelong, if your basis of "God" is everything around you, then god must be chaotic, isn't? i mean, this is a world of chaos, of pollution, of pain and of greed. So logically speaking this means the god you are referring to is a chaotic, polluted, pain-loving and greedy god. But my God isn't. My God is the God of the Bible, one should read His words so you'll know who He really is, not merely looking around you. yes, it's true that in some sceneries, you can see God, but those are subtle manifestations, and human nature dictates to see more wrong than good. but if you'll read the Bible and trust His words, you'll be able to look differently on things which are unseen, and therefore you can't just look around and say "oh, there's God!". i'm not debating, i'm just standing firm on my belief in God. :) Happy mylotting!

WOW I am not sure where you live but I am sorry that you dont get to see the wonderous beautiful things that are in this world such as sunshine, flowers, animals, etc.

yeah faith plays a big role in our first step in knowing Him...faith that needs NO proof of anything...then if we learn it then comes our hope and then we learn to LoVE Him...

You may be surprised to know that Jesus doesn't like religion. He said the religous leaders of his day was like the blind leading the blind, we have a lot of that today still. He was very precise on what it takes to be able to go and be with God in John 14:6.

all i can say is Yes.. Alcoran(bible right?) is the key to know Him more.. He is amazing!

i also respect what you believe in right now... i just want to share to you some of my experience i hope you don't mind.. when i've heard before about having a relationship with Him, at first i was a little confused because we don't see Him,how can it be? i thought it's hard..but as the urge inside me keeps bothering my mind, He allowed me to understand that He can be my friend, so when i pray, i just talk to Him about anything, at first it is a little awkward because i am not used to do that but He understands everything i feel,and little by little i believe that I felt His presence, i enjoy constant talk with him, then i learn to seek His words through the Bible..God bless you!

I'm not sure if you mean you dont know how to start a relationship with God, or if you mean you can only have relationships with someone you can physically see with your own eyes.

If it's the first, open your heart to Him. Talk to him, He hears everything and He will guide you as soon as you show a willingness to let Him be in your life.

If it's the second, I pray someone will enter your life who will open your heart for you, for this. I dont mean this in a negative way at all, it's actually the most beautiful thing that can happen. Once you do, you will be amazed at the changes around you.

@ musikaLorA: thank you for sharing your experience. I don't mind at all. Although I don't believe, I still find it interesting. Maybe one day i will change my mind. I must say that I admire your courage and respect. Alot of the comments here are negative and unrespectful. I live in Canada and I think it's a wonderful place because people are really open minded on what they believe or not. I have two friends who are christians and we do talk about religions sometimes. I don't want to be ignorant too :) thank your for sharing

@ rainie30: Actually, I though about it this morning. My boyfriend told me about a horror movie about someone being possessed. I think that I do believe in something like that although I've never seen one. However, if I believe in demons, this means that I must believe in god because it has a connection to it. Enough of my rambling! I meant that I don't know how to start a relationship with god. But in order to do so, I have to believe in him first right? thank you for your input.

yeah you are right...whew,thanks i was reminded!for me at times of trouble,i am tested how far can i trust Him, sometimes i tend not to have more patience,but i believe that life is a learning process, and we have to trust Him whole heartedly...

at first of course it is difficult to have faith but I believe if we really are willing to know Him more then surely He will be glad to help us...

I'm curious on how you feel we came to be then? Who, or what, could have created this amazing world we live in? It's the perfect design, took one heck of an architect to make it work all together.

can't blame the man for what he said he is angry with god,and those same old scriptures too,but i am wondering,does starscream realize that he has a soul within,and that soul was not created like the body he is in now,he wants god to change space matter and time for him so what about the billions of us here whom just like it has it is,and just give thanks for the creation everday,wake up starscream,u are in too deep with your disgust just relax ask the guardians that follow u to show u the truths of all truths which u so much desire and it will be shown to u,i know this is so just ask kindly in your depth of soul,and it will be granted

@rainie- as far as i have studied about universe,my observation and current scientific proof says there is no creator. I don't buy intelligent design theories. thank you for those pointers. prove designer exist else no point in preaching.

@kasher-First thing is i'm not angry with god or designer(so come out of assumption that non-believers are angry on god or enemy of god, this is just blind assumption of you). How can i be angry on something that doesn't exist ? besides that there is no scientific proof for soul. and stop preaching. i am much awakened in comparison to you. designer or aka god never asked me to pray or to realize him, unless he proves his existence and ask me to worship him, this is not going to happen. thanks for preaching belief though but sorry.

there are reasons and purpose for everything.. and i believe in your sincerity in saying that you don't believe in the God the creator,i also want to agree that it doesn't mean that if anyone doesn't believe means he is angry at God,you have the right to believe it for now for you choose CURRENTLY to believe what have you learn and you also stated that you have your proof, right? but just a thought for you to ponder i hope you don't mind, we really don't know what lies ahead or what lies tomorrow right but if we sleep tonight and if you have important schedule on the next morning we believe that there will be tomorrow, for me that simple act of believing is an act of faith, believing in God for me is is like having faith to hope that there will be tomorrow...just wanna share what i have learned also, happy myLotting!

I really like the way you let me share my opinion. Thanks for that. Being non-believer i hardly get people to listen to my views (like the one that i mentioned at first in this thread about creator). I must say you're open minded for listening to both side of fence. Have good time ahead in life and happy mylotting.

it is my pleasure... we live in a world where we are free to express what we really feel and believe, and this makes me happy too cuz i get to learn new ideas about everything and anything under the sun.. life is really good, so i want to cherish every moment i live.. i may stumble and fall to some decisions i've made but i know i am learning something and i don't wanna regret on anything... so let us keep pushing onwards to a better life worth living..
