Just heard this song on the radio. I have to say it has always been one of my favorites by The Rolling Stones. Maybe because it makes me ask myself this question - Am I getting what I need? Are you getting what you need? I know this is a loaded question! I love music. Makes me think!

Hello M. Strangely enough, I have been trying to impart this wisdom to my 9 year old son for the past few days. He is still having a hard time coping with it, but I am sure that he will get it. I think it's just my timing that is off. With Christmas and all just around the corner.

hello canesfan! i think somehow its true! and even God, He will not give us all we want but He will just give us what we need and what's good for us. so far, i think i am getting what i need, coz i just have simple and basic needs in my life. i do have a shelter, a good and nice family, a loving husband. clothes to wear, foods to eat 3x a day...i have a good relation to my God, what else can i ask for? so i think, for our other needs, we should really work for it. coz nothing comes easily, i think. have a good day...and welcome to mylot!
