Why do so many celebrities feel the need to have a perfume? I don't get the perfume/cologne thing. To promote themselves? Most of these people who have these perfumes/colognes are already famous enough and rich enough...

hi there! I noticed that too! But most of these stars own the brand or have a deal with a popular brand which means another source of income for them. Good business, don't you think?!

I guess its because they can! I spose you cant blame them as long as there are people out there who are prepared to pay the price of a 'celebrity' perfume irrespective of the smell. I wonder if the celebs even bother to test the perfume before they sign a mega-dollar contract to endorse it. It would be really funny if someone deliberately formulated some foul smelling concoction for a celeb to endorse. People would still buy it, thereby proving how materialistic some celebs are and how shallow some consumers are.
