I saw it in black in white! I can't imagine seeing it in color! Thanks for the response!

I agree with you about that movie. It's a great movie and I just love it.
I had to go out and buy it because I like it so much.
The other movies that I like that are great too are called: "Miracle on 34th Street", and "It's A Wonderful Life".

I've actually never seen it. I've seen "versions" of it as Christmas specials on TV shows - like they did one on the show Beauty and the Beast. I don't watch a LOT of network TV anymore, so I'm sure I've missed a lot of them too - honestly, no great loss.
I wrote a "Christmas Carol" set in the UNCLE - 1980's sort of universe.

Hi bluepacker, it's hard to believe that you and the responders here haven't seen it many times as it was endlessly on UK televsion most christamas times, in the same way that Bank holidays endlessly replayed 'The Great Escape' or 'Sparticus'. Of course in the UK then we only had 3 TV channels so there was no getting away from them. I believe that 'It's a Wonderful Life' tops the ratings for one of the best films ever in the feel good factor, and I like the old black and white ones like this.

This is a must-see for my husband and me every year, along with A Christmas Carol (we have the 1938 version on DVR now, if you havent seen this, its a MUST SEE too lol) and Miracle on 34th Street.
The new movies are really nice, fun, sweet, etc, but the old movies have a charm that hasnt been recaptured since.

I have not watched this movie before, what kind of movie is it? Is it related to Christmas? I like the title of the movie -- Wonderful Life. I suppose all of us want to have wonderful life.

Yes I have seen it many times and its one of the best movie that Jimmy Stewart did. It will definitely be on before Christmas and I'm sure more then once. I'm going to try and watch it again myself. I guess its a Christmas Tradition along with the movie "The Christmas Story" and "Miracle on 34th Street".
